Shawn O’Neill is Director, Security Services, for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation. In this capacity, Mr. O’Neill is in charge of security operations in all buildings owned or managed by The Rockefeller Group. Mr. O’Neill’s responsibilities include overseeing the selection, training, deployment, and supervision of all security personnel, including supervisors, patrol officers, elevator operators, locksmiths, and control board operators. He is also responsible for security patrol operations, building access controls, and strategies to improve the quality of life for tenant employees and visitors as well as building personnel.

Mr. O’ Neill has worked for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation his entire career, holding various positions including that of Control Board Operator, in which he coordinated and dispatched building response to routine and emergency situations, and Manager of Security and Life Safety, where he assisted in all security related issues and served as Building Fire Safety Director.

He currently holds several professional licenses and permits from the FDNY and NYPD and is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association; ASIS, Fire Safety Directors Association New York; and NYPD Area Police/Private Security Liaison.

As part of his education in property management, Shawn has attended John Jay College, Turner Trade School, and Building Owners and Managers Institute. He recently received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Felician College.
