As Senior Real Estate Counsel for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation, Mr. Foster is responsible for negotiating and finalizing transactions relative to the company’s development, management, and ownership operations. Responsibilities include the review of contracts pertaining to leasing, financing and real estate transactions, licenses, management operations, joint ventures, and the acquisition of businesses for the company’s West Coast Region.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Foster served as Regional General Counsel for the California Region of Toll Brothers, Inc., the nation's premier builder of luxury homes. In that position he was primarily responsible for the direct oversight of transactional matters including the negotiation of letters of intent, purchase contracts, joint ventures, land banking transactions, and off-balance sheet financing.
Mr. Foster also served as an Associate in the Real Estate Department of the law firm of Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory in its Orange County office. While at Allen Matkins, he worked on transactions including the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of several multi-phase commercial projects (retail, industrial, and office) in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia.
Mark holds a BA degree from the University of Southern California and a JD degree from the University of Southern California Law School. |
